Riptide Images manages all aspects of field production: capturing real‑time action, conducting on‑location interviews with athletes, organizers, and community members, and gathering detailed b‑roll that enhances each broadcast. Reefs go live
marine science live broadcast series
Reefs Go Live is an immersive educational initiative that transports students and viewers into the underwater world of coral reefs. We were thrilled to partner with the Central Caribbean Marine Institute (CCMI) to bring this project to life, playing a crucial role in the production of the broadcasts.
Our team led the technical production of the broadcasts on the day as well as meticulously prepared b-roll footage that showcased the dynamic marine environment, ensuring that each broadcast was enriched with engaging visuals. Additionally, we conducted comprehensive technical training for the camera operators, equipping them with the skills needed to capture the underwater world in all its splendour.
Through our efforts, we helped create a seamless educational experience that transported viewers into the heart of ocean science. Our contribution to the technical production process was instrumental in bringing the wonders of the reef to screens around the globe, fostering a deeper connection between the audience and the marine ecosystem.
